(Without your financial support I wouldn't have been able to participate in this unforgettable experience.) Tie the appropriateness of the gift to the person/organization who gave it to you. (Your support of education and unique opportunities is greatly appreciated.) Talk about how you plan to use the experience. (By attending this program, I have enriched my knowledge and experience that undoubtedly will enhance my future success.) Add a small personal note to update the giver about your life. (I have had an enjoyable summer and am looking forward to my senior year at Hays High School in two weeks.) If you have not met the giver, a photograph may be inserted with this note.
